Terms of sale

These terms apply to every order placed with Opus Caviar LLC (“Opus Caviar”, “we”) at opuscaviar.com.

The product

We sell Kaluga Hybrid sturgeon caviar (Huso dauricus × Acipenser schrenckii · Farm-raised · Product of China · Repacked in California), malossol and unpasteurized, in 50g, 125g, 250g and 500g tins at $1.50 per gram. Ingredients: sturgeon roe, salt. Contains: fish (sturgeon).

Where and when we deliver

• We deliver by local courier only, the same day, across the South Bay. We check your address at checkout, and the courier quote decides whether we can reach it.
• Deliveries run every day from 10am to 6pm. Orders placed by 5:30pm go out the same day; later orders go out from 10am the next day.
• We do not ship by mail or parcel carrier and do not sell through marketplaces.

Courier fee

The courier fee is a live quote from our delivery partner, shown at checkout and charged without markup. You never pay more than the fee shown when you place your order.

Receiving your order

If no one answers, the courier leaves it at your door and sends a photo. Refrigerate promptly. All sales are final. Please give accurate drop-off instructions (gate codes, concierge) at checkout. Caviar is packed on ice that keeps it at 28–32°F for about 12 hours; refrigerate it as soon as it arrives and enjoy within 48 hours of opening.

Caviar is a fresh, perishable food, so we cannot accept returns and all sales are final.

Cancellations by us

If we cannot fulfil an order (for example, a size sells out or no courier is available), we cancel it and refund the full amount, including the courier fee, to your original payment method.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. If you choose to save a card, Stripe stores it securely; we never see or store full card numbers. You can remove a saved card at any time.
